Job Summary
This positions in on-site at the CITGO Lemont Refinery, Lemont, Illinois.
Heavy Craft Technician - Candidates will work in a refinery environment operating mobile equipment and performing equipment maintenance tasks. They will also perform fixed equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance and basic maintenance tasks.
Pay Range: $44.23 - $51.67/hour.

Minimum Qualifications
- Basic Maintenance Skills
- Must understand:
- mechanical drawings
- basic shop equipment.
- basic piping fundamentals.
- basic hydrotesting of piping and equipment.
- basic valve maintenance.
- Must understand and be able to use precision measuring devices.
- Must be able to:
- operate overhead davits and cranes.
- remove replace vacuum breakers/rupture discs.
- work in a refinery environment.
- work outdoors, climb, and wear SCBA
- Must possess the ability to make correct decisions concerning the safety of plant personnel and protection of plant equipment
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Driver's License
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Eligibility
Candidates with the following qualifications are strongly preferred:
- 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
- Class A CDL
- Fork Truck Certified
- Carry Deck Certified
- Crane Certified (Up to 60 ton crane)
