Engineers use their technical expertise to guide daily operational decisions and company strategies while keeping safety as our highest priority. CITGO is a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where individual talent is recognized and rewarded. CITGO hires engineers from a variety of degreed backgrounds (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, etc.) to fill functional roles in Process, Reliability, Maintenance, Project, and Plant engineering. Engineers have multiple career advancement tracks within the company, including becoming a recognized company subject matter expert (SME) or progressing into management ranks.
