Job Summary
This position is responsible for the development, administration, and support of Enterprise Content Management (xECM) solutions across all CITGO business units. The role combines advanced SAP/OpenText development with system administration responsibilities to ensure the stability, integrity, and security of CITGO’s Content Server and related xECM platforms.
The position performs analysis, modeling, and design of SAP solutions for imaging, content management, and record archiving. It acts as a Functional Analyst collaborating with business partners to gather requirements, design, configure, and implement technical solutions.
This position also serves as a system administrator for OpenText, SAP Content Server, and associated interfaces—managing system performance, security, patching, configurations, monitoring, upgrades, and overall platform health.
The role supports solution implementation, testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution, documentation, communications, and end-user training. Work involves learning and supporting SAP workbench, ABAP, Java, SQL, Web Reports, and OpenText system administration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of IT experience or 15 years of IT experience in lieu of degree.

Job Duties
Design. Develop. Implement. and Monitor –Develop and enhance ECM solutions aligned with business requirements. Analyze and design SAP solutions for imaging, content management, and archiving. Apply EDMS methodologies and industry best practices. Collaborate with business process owners to optimize technical solutions. System Administration: Manage OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, and SAP–OpenText integrations. Perform system configurations, patching, hotfix deployment, and version upgrades. Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and repository integrity. Maintain user roles, security permissions, and audit compliance settings.
Collaboration and Coordination - Design and develop forms, workflows, applications, and reports using OpenText tools. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams on design and testing. Coordinate communications, issue resolution, and implementation plans. System Administration: Coordinate with infrastructure teams on server resources, backups, and DR strategy. Partner with Information Security to enforce policies and protect information assets. Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and architectural diagrams.
System Integrity and Performance - Perform change management tasks for transferring new functionality into production. Investigate and resolve system issues, ensuring root cause identification. Implement corrective actions with minimal business interruption. System Administration: Monitor logs, jobs, workflows, and system queues for failures or degradation. Run preventive maintenance routines for SAP–OpenText archiving jobs. Support on-call troubleshooting, including emergency outages or escalations.
Training - Plan, prepare and deliver approrpriate training to end-users.
