Job Summary
Provide procurement support in accordance with company procedures and strategic goals while under the direct supervisor's guidance. Assists or performs the following duties: places purchase orders; selects and negotiates with approved vendors and evaluates vendor reliability; obtains materials from suppliers at the lowest cost, with consideration to quality, reliability and urgency of need; schedules deliveries and follows up on orders to expedite delivery and shipment; obtains certifications of delivery and approves payment invoices for orders placed. Maintains records and files as needed. Performs basic analytical tasks and industry research.

Minimum Qualifications
- Full-time student pursuing a Project or Construction Management, Finance, or Engineering degree with at least 30 hours completed (Soph, JR, SR)
- Overall GPA of 3.0 or above (A=4.0) (Must provide proof of current GPA at time of hire to verify eligibility requirements are met)
- Valid Driver's License

The Maritime Transportation Security Act requires all persons who will need unescorted access to a regulated facility to have a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), issued in accordance with the rules established by the United States Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration. Job Duties
- Assigned special projects in the Project Controls group to support planning, estimating, and financial tracking of routine and major projects, an end of term presentation expected
- In the second work term the student will be assigned more challenging assignments
- In the third work term, if applicable, in addition to more challenging tasks, the student oversees a capital maintenance project
