Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting Non-Hydrocarbon (NHC) Procurement and Warehousing functions by improving, standardizing and streamlining business processes, systems, and controls. The role serves as a cross-functional System Analyst, collaborating with IT, Maintenance, Operations and Finance to ensure that system design, data governance, and workflow execution align with enterprise needs and enable safe, efficient and compliant Supply Chain operations.

 

Key responsibilities include: (1) gathering and translating business requirements into system and process enhancements; (2) reviewing Material Master, Procurement, Maintenance and Warehouse processes and recommending improvements; (3) participating in system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment; (4) Managing and governing Material Master and Procurement master data; (5) provide training/coaching on systems, data and procedures; (6) conducting compliance reviews; (7)  Generating analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.

 

The role requires strong customer focus, analytical discipline, and the ability communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree, 8 years of job related experience.
  • Functional SAP knowledge. (MM, PM, and FI/CO preferred).
  • Experience with Material and Service Master Data Management (preferred).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • Experience with process mapping, system workflow documentation, and testing methodologies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT, Maintenance, Operations, and Finance.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.

Job Duties

1. Requirements Gathering, Process Mapping, and System Design Support

Collect and document business requirements across Procurement, Maintenance, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and IT. Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications. Ensure system designs support operational efficiency, data integrity, compliance, and user adoption.

 

2. Master Data Governance & Material Master Structure

Develop and maintain Material Master structure and attributes. Analyze specifications, verify data accuracy, improve classification logic, and ensure proper alignment with Maintenance and Operation’s needs. Support data cleansing, migration, and quality checks using master data governance tools.

 

3. System Testing, Validation, and Implementation Support

Develop test scripts and execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for system enhancements or new solutions. Validate upstream and downstream impacts across SAP modules (MM, PM, FI/CO). Collaborate with IT on defect resolution and deployment readiness.

 

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as a liaison between Procurement, IT, Maintenance, Operations, and Finance. Lead working sessions; facilitate communication of system and process changes; ensure alignment of data standards, workflows, and improvement initiatives.

 

5. Training, Compliance, Reporting & Analytics

Provide training and coaching to Procurement, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Operations personnel. Perform compliance reviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Develop and distribute analytics and reports supporting operational performance, cost control, and reliability.
