Job Summary
Working under limited supervision, the Supply Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day exchange and terminaling activity including the setting and meeting of inventory (balance) targets, new customer set-ups, contract amendments, and resolution of supply and accounting issues. The Supply Coordinator routinely conducts studies analyzing data to determine the best economic alternative supply sources to meet CITGO's requirements. They work in close contact with Customer Service, Terminal Accounting, Exchange Accounting, Scheduling and Trading to ensure CITGO's contractual exchange and terminaling obligations are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- College Degree and 5 years of job-related experience preferred. In lieu of degree, 9 years of job-related expereience required
- Must be on-call 24 hours & carry pager.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong decision making skills.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Ability to be able to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- SAP experience Preferred
Job Duties
- Determine exchange balance targets and manage balances within target tolerance.
- Analyze and report balance vs. target status to management
- Verify and authorize accounting personal and schedulers to make various necessary changes in order to expedite the reconciliation process.
- Negotiate monthly payback with exchange partner.
- Enter all exchange payback call-offs into SAP.
- Establish and cultivate good working relationships with internal and external customers
- Analyze exchange and terminaling contracts to determine economic benefit. Recommend changes to management to improve economic benefit. Monitor exchange liftings to ensure that they are within contractual obligations
- Evaluate supply source alternatives in terms of economic benefit and customer preference. Coordinate implementation of changes required, including customer set-ups, contract modifications, SAP updates, and partner contacts

5. Negotiate with Exchange/TA Partner cost effective changes to our supply agreements. Update SAP as required and coordinate changes with Customer Service, Terminal Operations, Pricing and Marketing.
6. Create, implement and manage exchange and terminaling agreements.
- Prepare all necessary written documents.
- Execute in SAP all necessary processes associated with contract data for these agreements.
- Notify departments with appropriate contract information, including Customer Service, Terminal Operations, Pricing and Marketing.
