Job Summary

As a Performance Management Analyst, your performance and contribution will achieve the following goals and objectives:

  • Performance tracking: You will use strong analytical skills with the ability to consume large amounts of information and translate to useful recommendations
  • Data modeling and analysis: You will be responsible for developing, owning and maintaining the program performance models to support CITGO leadership with KPI tracking and decision making for the program
  • Program results reporting: You will work closely with the commercial pricing and risk management team to prepare program results in standardized formats for daily/weekly/monthly communication to key stakeholders across the business
  • Value chain coordination: You will serve as the liaison between the performance management team and stakeholders across the Supply and Trading business units, escalating issues to senior analysts, and working with the business to ensure accuracy and transparency in results and generated reports
  • Reconciliation and accounting: You will work with the accounting team for month end reconciliation of inventory volumes and valuations

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, seeks big picture answers beyond immediate scope
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an extremely complex, dynamic and fast-paced team environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Relevant knowledge/experience with information tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in Power Platform Apps and RightAngle preferred
  • The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is 3 years.  
  • Bachelor's Degree

Job Duties

  1. Performance Management: Perform analytical work, involving the identification, compilation, and documentation of expenditures, for purposes of providing comprehensive performance results, key insights to inform organization on results and forecast future outcomes
  2. Scenario modeling: Work with senior analysts to develop and maintain the actual model structure, testing process and implementation of the information model, and determine the best model delivery (i.e., using Power BI or MS Excel, etc.). Also create the documentation for implementation of the models and the procedures on how to maintain the information models
  3. Business reporting: Consolidate results and metrics to develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for presentation to the Supply and Trading business leadership.
  4. Special projects: Participate in development of other initiatives and special projects as directed by the Supply and Trade Management team.
  5. Reconciliation: Work with the accounting team to complete end of month volume reconciliations for in-tank levels vs calculated amounts from daily accruals tracking.
