Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and talented students for our Maintenance & Supply Chain Internship. You will join our Optimization team, supporting daily operations in refineries and corporate groups while collaborating on high-impact projects in cost analytics and AI-centric solutions. Work alongside industry experts, learn from real challenges, and contribute to strategies that drive performance and value across our supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma required
Bachelor’s (sophomore, junior and senior), in Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or Operations Research. Master’s degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience building statistical data models for operational improvement or academic research.
Proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and Power BI.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
Familiarity with machine learning, regression analysis, simulation, or similar statistics techniques.
Energetic, organized, and eager to learn independently and in teams.
Job Duties
Data Modeling:
• Develop and execute SQL queries
• Build statistical and machine learning models in Python
• Analyze data to uncover key drivers of organizational savings.
Process Optimization:
• Travel to refinery and operational sites (as available)
• Partner with field teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Project Management:
• Document project requirements and milestones.
• Support project team for solution implementation and user adoption.
Special Projects:
• Support one cost analysis project during your internship.
• Support one AI-related project for supply chain process improvement.
