Job Summary
Manage, protect and oversee company-wide HR data. Subject matter expert dealing with highly personal, confidential and sensitive information, utilizing SAP/SuccessFactors and PC applications to research and analyze inquiries, produce data, analyses, and various reports to support legal inquisitions and requests for confidential data, numerous HR reports, including those regarding legal compliance with federal and state employment laws, and various business unit requests. Analyze and process company-wide requests affecting all types of employees pay records, as well as organization structure. Manage data integrity and educate/train HR personnel on key processes affecting HR employee master data.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Associate Degree peferred
- 3 years of job-related experience with an associate’s degree in human resources, personnel administration, HRIS, or related field.
- If no associate’s degree, 5 years of job-related experience in Human Resources/Benefits, service representative work or other related experience is required.
- Should be self-directed, have strong customer service orientation, good written communication skills, possess ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and be able to work independently in a team environment.
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of SAP/SuccessFactors and how it interfaces and affects other systems and transactions.
- Complete additional SAP/SuccessFactors training as needed.
- Maintain awareness of new HR Laws, benefit plans, and changes throughout the year and their impact in SAP/SuccessFactors.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of CITGO’s HR policies, procedures and benefits is required for necessary analysis to occur.
- Understands benefits and payroll.
Job Duties
- Subject Matter Expert for SAP HR/SuccessFactors Employee Central module. Analyze personnel action requests before processing to ensure no adverse effect to the employees, business processes/workflows, or data security.
- Provide direction, guidance and training as needed, to HR professionals and Benefits staff regarding correct procedures to be followed in various situation to ensure appropriate workflows between SAP modules/SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Time affecting Payroll, Finance, SAP security, Organizational Structure.
- Manage the employment verification process with external financial institutions for employees’ company-wide, both verbal and written, to include mortgage verifications, letters of employment for various entities, adhering to compliance regarding information provided, completion and timeliness.
- Partner with HR professionals, Managers and Business Units to analyze, create and/or restructure organizations so that positions/employees are appropriately aligned, costs flow to correct cost centers, and reporting relationships initiate proper workflows within SAP/SuccessFactors.
- Instruct IT Production Support to configure other critical HR tables such as worksite for unemployment, hourly rate tables, salary ranges, etc.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures of technical HR processes affecting data in SAP, which includes updating complex guidelines as technical upgrades are implemented in SAP/SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Time. The standard operating procedures are also used for baseline training of company-wide HR Staff, Benefits staff, Compensation Analysts and Service Center staff.
