Job Summary
Coordinates economic and logistical activities for CITGO refineries and assures needs are integrated into performance enhancement initiatives of the Supply organization. Facilitates the planning of the refinery crude and feedstock inventory balances and identifies opportunities to optimize performance. Responsibilities include representing refinery issues and capabilities at the corporate office, coordinating inventory and economic opportunities with other refineries and leading discussions to coordinate or solve conflicts associated with refinery operation.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum years of job-related experience required is 8 years.
- Bachelors Degree
- Knowledge of Refinery processes, Refinery Economics, LP, Tool, Planning Cycle, Risk Analysis
- Excellent communications skills with a strong ability to lead
- Advanced Problem Solving —Root cause analysis
- Advanced Economic Analysis
- Facilitation-negotiation skills
Job Duties
- Monitor, evaluate, and enhance the performance of each CITGO refinery to maximize refinery contribution. Work with Refinery personnel to clarify adjustments.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure refineries meet and/or exceed economic plans, including leading the process to measure refinery performance vs. plan.
- Coordinate and facilitate large-scale, cross-functional meetings involving multiple teams across all refinery sites, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment on key initiatives.
- Evaluate, measure and report performance against monthly or annual targets.
- Coordinate market pricing and logistical updates and subsequent impacts with the Supply organization.
