Job Summary
The IAM Security Analyst is responsible for implementing and maintaining identity and access controls across enterprise systems and cloud platforms. This role focuses on enforcing Zero Trust principles, least privilege access, and automating identity lifecycle processes to strengthen security posture. The analyst will work with technologies such as SailPoint, Microsoft Active Directory, and Azure Entra, while developing technical solutions to improve IAM efficiency and compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 0 - 2 Years of experience.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Project management skills.
Preferred:
- Basic understanding of IAM concepts, Zero Trust, and least privilege principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Entra, and cloud security fundamentals.
- Exposure to IAM platforms (SailPoint preferred) and SQL databases.
Job Duties
1.Identity Lifecycle & Access Control
- Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Implement onboarding, offboarding, attestation, and automation of identities using IAM tools (SailPoint preferred).
- Apply role-based and security-based entitlement models aligned with company standards.
2. Technical Development & Automation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline IAM processes.
- Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot identity-related issues and resolve escalated technical support tickets.
3. Security Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor identity-related activity logs to detect anomalies and potential security incidents.
- Assist in incident response and remediation of IAM-related vulnerabilities.
- Support audits and risk assessments by providing technical evidence and implementing corrective actions.
4. IAM Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Execute technical tasks for IAM projects, including system upgrades and new feature deployments.
- Evaluate emerging IAM technologies and recommend improvements to enhance security and efficiency.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate configuration records.
