Job Summary

Provide performance reporting and improve/automate current legacy systems using emerging technologies.

 

Responsible for creating meaningful analysis, reports and management presentations in support of the organization. Types of analysis and reporting may include quality review, workflow analysis, process improvement, regular business reporting, and a variety of other function specific purposes.

 

Responsible for analyzing and reporting current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, lead times, and production parameters. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. Provide market, competitive and strategic analysis for Lubricants.

 

This position supports business process improvements/automation via the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of Lubricants. The position is expected to assist in the requirements development process through the elicitation, analysis, specification and verification of multiple requirements (enterprise, stakeholders, and information technology).

 

This position is NOT REMOTE.  It will be on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Houston, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business management or technical field is preferred.
  •  Strong interest in new technology and trends with the ability to relate concepts to practical applications
  • Highly preferred: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power BI
  • Minimum years of job-related experience required:  0  

Job Duties

1.    Provide reporting for the Lubricants organization. This includes development, tracking and reporting on Lubricant’s performance indicators, KPI analysis and benchmarking versus the budget. Conduct benchmarking analysis versus competition and the “best in class” to monitor CITGO progress. Performance measures and targets must be consistent with Lubricants’ vision, mission and long-range plans.

 

2.    Strategically analyze business units across the organization to identify areas of improvement. Prioritize identified areas and collaborate with process owners to analyze business improvements by emerging technologies. Participate in value proposition development.

 

3.    Analyze data, identify trends, and monitor KPIs looking for and researching oddities prior to presenting and interpreting the result to managers.

 

4.    Supporting the plans for new-generation technology. Assist in defining value of capability, identifying how and why it is used in the industry and key user experiences and values derived from capabilities.
 


5.    Design and document dashboards, alerts, and reports either on a regular recurring basis or as needed. Conduct analyses of functional business processes and functional business requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes. Research business problems and create models that help analyze these business problems. Coordinate metrics with other teams in the organization for consistency and correctness.
