Job Summary
Assists terminal manager with the production and activities of all terminal employees based at his/her facility. Plans and directs work, provides training, facilitates interaction with other work groups, establishes goals and objectives and sets performance criteria. Reviews candidates to fill vacancies and conducts performance reviews. Assists in the establishment and implementation of capital and operating budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is:
- 7 years.

- Extensive experience in light oil terminal operations.
- Office PC and SAP applications.
- Broad negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- BS in Engineering required if role takes on regional ASTIP and/or engineering responsibilities.
Job Duties
- Safety and Environmental Management: Conduct safety meetings, perform inspections, ensure compliance with regulations, and submit reports to maintain a zero-incident culture.
- Operational Supervision: Oversee terminal operations, manage product receipt and delivery, establish service protocols, and foster continuous improvement for efficiency and safety.
- Budget Management: Prepare and control budgets by assessing current operations, projecting future needs, and monitoring expenses to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Reporting: Track terminal activities, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure service levels and manage supply and inventory.
- Product Quality Assurance: Verify that petroleum products meet quality standards, develop tank conversion plans, and manage product integrity.
- Customer Relations: Maintain high service levels, manage community impact, and implement community relations initiatives to foster a positive company image.
- Training and Development: Conduct training, use development plans, coach employees, and promote a collaborative work environment.
- Asset Management: Supervise inventory measurements, reconcile inventories, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
- Revenue Generation: Maximize lease space by managing tenant relationships and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Project Management: Manage capital projects, develop scopes, coordinate bids, and oversee contractor activities to stay within budget.
- Emergency Preparedness: Train employees for emergencies, conduct drills, and coordinate with local responders and regulators.
This role requires strong supervisory skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
