Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst role on on-site at our Cicero Lubricant plant in Cicero, IL. The position involves collecting and evaluating supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and apply strategies to enhance performance. Requires close collaboration with the Supply Chain Supervisor to develop blending and bulk production schedules. Ensures that bulk schedules meet customer needs while maximizing the use of facility assets. Responsible for determining optimal raw material stocking levels to support just-in-time manufacturing, minimizing inventory levels without compromising production. Additionally, the role includes evaluating and facilitating the introduction of new bulk raw materials, assigning appropriate storage tanks, and coordinating tankage and equipment requirements with the Engineering and Maintenance Department. In the absence of the Supply Chain Supervisor, this position assumes full responsibility for their duties.
Salary range: $65,800 - $81,000

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Analytics or related field, or an Associate Degree with two (2) years of job-related experience.
- Four (4) years of job-related experience is expected in the absence of a degree.
- Proficient in computer applications, with advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel. Experience with data analysis and/or automation tools is preferred. Working knowledge of SQL queries, Power BI, Power Automate, and Python is considered an asset.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and derive insights from data
- Demonstrates accountability by owning tasks from start to finish, managing time effectively, and consistently honoring commitments.
- Approaches challenges with confidence and ensures accountability for both personal and team responsibilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and optimization methodologies (preferred but not required)
Job Duties
1. Develop and implement effective processes for collecting and analyzing supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement and drive the implementation of efficient, data-driven solutions
2. Oversee daily scheduling of bulk truck and railcar shipments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation. Maintain and update logistics schedules and communicate operational needs across departments. Utilize the CN railway portal to track inbound railcars and coordinate switching activities in and out of the facility.
3. Coordinate blending operations with daily bulk loading and packaging schedules. Ensure all products are blended in a timely manner to meet customer delivery requirements.
4. Establish and maintain optimal MRP settings in SAP for blends and finished packaging goods.
5. Support the development, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
6. Update and maintain master recipes, production versions, and set-up group keys with respect to finite scheduling in CM25 and MF51. This includes assigning finished products to the appropriate resource (i.e. packaging line) and updating planning rates and user fields as needed.
7. Evaluate the introduction of new additives, base oils, and finished products, assessing their impact on tankage and blending schedules. Recommend appropriate storage solutions and tank assignments based on operational needs.
8. Act as the Supply Chain Supervisor in their absence, including occasional oversight of administrative staff (two hourly team members), ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making.
