Job Summary
Provide leadership, supervision, and management to ensure a safe, environmentally sound, and aggressively costed terminal operation that supports the customer and CITGO’s mission and enhances CITGO’s overall strategy and image. Assists the terminal manager in the production and activities of the facility. Assists, plans and performs work, provides interaction with other work groups and supports management of capital and operating budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
The minimum years of job-related experience required by this job is:
- 5 years.

Expected Salary Range: $102,000 - $125,000

Job Duties
- Safety and Environmental Management: Foster a zero-incident culture through safety meetings, inspections, compliance with regulations, and timely reporting to prevent violations.
- Operational Supervision: Oversee terminal operations, manage product handling, establish customer service protocols, and promote continuous improvement in efficiency and safety.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations while projecting future costs.
- Reporting: Track terminal activities, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders to maintain service levels and manage inventory effectively.
- Product Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards for petroleum products, develop tank conversion plans, and manage product integrity.
- Customer Relations: Maintain high service levels and a positive image in the community through effective communication and property maintenance.
- Training and Development: Conduct training for personnel, support skill development, and promote a collaborative work environment to enhance employee performance.
- Asset Management: Supervise inventory management, reconcile physical and corporate inventories, and oversee equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Project Management: Manage capital projects for terminal expansion or repairs, including scope development, budgeting, and contractor oversight.
- Emergency Preparedness: Train employees for emergency response, conduct drills, and review response plans to ensure readiness.
Additionally, the role requires supervisory experience in a 24/7 operational setting and a hands-on management approach.
